Software Deployment Engineer – London

OpenAsset, created by Axomic, is the Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) profession’s favourite digital asset management system. We help the world’s best companies build libraries of marketing and design resources.

We have offices in London and New York and are looking to recruit a Software Deployment Engineer to join our small and friendly support team based in our London Office in Shoreditch.

You will be responsible for the successful installation of OpenAsset to our clients, as well as dealing with any on-going technical queries for new and/or existing clients.

You will have experience within a similar IT support role, MySQL querying and data migration. With experience of Windows, Linux server platforms (OS X), you will be confident working in command line environments and have a good understanding of networking concepts. The final techie requirements are knowledge of Ghostscript, Imagemagik and Apache.

It goes without saying that you will need great customer service and problem solving skills. You will have excellent communication skills (inc good spoken English and written) and be a team player.

We are offering a competitive salary, plus 25 days holiday per year + bank/public holidays.

Working from fantastic modern offices located within the Silicon Roundabout area nr Old Street, with good rail connections, the successful applicant will benefit from being mentored and guided by a great team of friendly IT experts, within a company who have produced software used by around 20% of the world’s 100 top architectural practices.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, between 09:00 – 18:00 Monday- Friday (some out of hours and flexibility will be required).
